On 13 - 16 November a CNCP delegation came to Seversk for an official visit. Representatives of the Programme had a meeting with the City
Mayor Nikolay Kuzmenko and the Head of the City Administration Anatoly Abramov. The parties summarized the results of the work of the Partnership
and recognized the progress made in launching new projects.
CNCP experts visited operating and planned production sites related to the implementation of CNCP projects. They were: production of
diagnostic devices based on real time DNA analyses, production of MDF panels, production of technical ceramics, oil refi nery, and production of
packaging materials.
During the meetings a detailed discussion was held about the project for construction of a manufacturing facility for production construction
blocks “Teplosten”, which received CNCP funding.
Four new projects were also discussed during the visit. One of them was production of “Eurocables”. This project involves manufacture of cables
matching European quality and safety standards which are in great demand by Russian producers of refrigerators, washing machines and TV sets.
On the last day of the visit, the Business Development Agency together with the City Administration and Seversk State Technological
Academy held a financial workshop for representatives of finance organizations and the business community. 50 representatives from these
organizations took part in the seminar. The purpose of the seminar was to demonstrate to entrepreneurs from Seversk and Tomsk the whole range of
opportunities which can support their businesses in the closed nuclear city, starting from receiving grants from the CNCP Programme and funding
available from Tomsk “business angels” (investors) to subsidizing bank interest rates by the Regional Administration.
Those contributing to the seminar included different organizations as «Special economic zone of Tomsk», «Insurance House», Tomsk subsidiary
of «Bank of Moscow, Tomsk Innovation Support Centre, Tomsk Trade and Commerce Chamber, Seversk State Technological Academy, Seversk City
Administration, Tomsk Region Business Development Department, CNCP Programme, Rosatom and the Business Development Agency.
