CNCP-CIS International seminar on commercialisation of scientific and technical
developments,

The CNCP Programme and International Scientific and Technical Centre (ISTC) hold a seminar on commercialisation of results of scientific and technical developments.
On 22-23 March in the "Poliany" resort of the Moscow oblast there were presented the CNCP and ISTC Programmes aimed at supporting commercial activity of scientists from SIC countries. The seminar was attended by 80 participants who represented 35 organisations from the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belorussia and many cities of Russia - Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Saint-Petersburg, Zheleznogorsk, Novouralsk, Trekhgorniy, Obninsk, Ozersk, Sarov, Seversk and Snezhinsk.
The seminar was organized with financial support of the CNCP Programme and ISTC.
The participants were welcome by the Deputy Director of the "Global Partnership" Programme of the UK Department of Trade and Industry Trevor Hayward, Deputy Chief Executive of ISTC Lora Schmidt and Coordinator of CNCP programmes of Rosatom Vladimir Sterekhov.
The topic of the seminar was covered during three working sessions: "Intellectual property", "Marketing and sales", "Organisation of production processes and logistics".
During the "Intellectual property" session the participants presented the reports: "Intellectual property and issues related to commercialisation in Russia and CIS countries" (speaker - Konstantin Khomkin, Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation) and "Intellectual property and issues related to commercialisation in the United Kingdom" (speaker - Nick Trigg, Reserford Laboratory, UK.)
During the sessions "Marketing and sales" and "Organisation of production processes and logistics" the CNCP Programme experts Christoph Trontin, Mathew Savage and Mark Allington provided there reports.
The seminar was concluded by a plenary session during which the arisen questions and outcome of the seminar were discussed.
