Title

Production of profiled panels and sandwich panels used for construction of buildings from light metal structures.
Objectives

- Organize and develop a new production line of the company to produce different kinds of sandwich panels.

- Organize a complete production cycle on construction and marketing of fast-built facilities and constructions of different functions.

- Produce zinced and painted profiled panels and sell the panels through own wholesale depots of "SibMetalServices" located in Krasnoyarsk.

- Produce sandwich-panels for assemble by elements to meet the needs of production of metal structures for light and fast-built facilities and constructions.

- To create 47 new jobs in Zheleznogorsk, including 26 for former employees of MCK.
Summary

The purpose of this project is to complete the construction of a facility on the site of the former Development Workshop in Zheleznogorsk, to enable it to manufacture materials for the civil construction industry. The selected materials are metallic panels for roofing and cladding of buildings with certain specific profiles - trapezoidal or curved corrugations or a sandwich material with a waterproof exterior, a thermally insulating middle layer and a corrugated metal layer providing the strength to permit unsupported spans of 6m.

The project was paused because of the market situation after the financial crisis. Currently, almost all the conditions have been fulfilled. The company is seeking new orders . 60 new jobs have been created.

Jobs

38 new jobs (of them 8 for former employee of MCK) had been created by the end of Q 1, 2011-2012.
Cost

Total cost of the project is £398,824. The DECC's contribution is £80,000.
