The Project arose out of contacts made at the CNCP partnering road-show in October 2003. The UK based intermediary company FSU Services has helped in its formulation, by establishing initial interest in partnering with Sarov from an Oxfordshire-based medical equipment company, Ortho-Europe. The project (involving a contribution by DTI of £ 5,000) was approved for market research and partnering opportunities investigation by the Steering Group at its meeting in May 2004. First partnering meeting to the UK was undertaken by representatives of the VNIIEF project team in October 2004. Project completed in Q 2 2008-09. Negotiations with the UK partners led to the Medical Hoists project being implemented by Electromashina company.
